Allegro Alternatives: Where Else to Sell
Allegro isn't the only sales channel in Poland. See which platforms actually pay off and match a marketplace to your niche instead of dumping your entire catalog everywhere.
Allegro alternatives in a nutshell — where else to sell
If you’re looking for Allegro alternatives, Polish e-commerce in 2026 gives you a few realistic options: Erli, Morele Marketplace, OLX, EmpikPlace and Kaufland Global Marketplace. Each of them, however, has a different niche, a different commission model and a different buyer. The worst thing you can do is copy your entire catalog onto every platform at once. The key is matching the channel to what you sell and who you sell it to — and that’s exactly what this map is about.
It’s worth setting the proportions straight right away. Allegro still clearly dominates the Polish market: the platform reports around 21 million active buyers per month, and its share of domestic retail e-commerce has been estimated at roughly 38% (indicative figures from the end of 2024 — verify current values in Allegro’s reports). That’s why, in practice, an “Allegro alternative” almost never means giving up Allegro — it means diversification: adding a second and third channel that reaches the market Allegro doesn’t serve equally well.
Why look for Allegro alternatives at all
There are several reasons sellers go beyond a single channel, and it’s rarely about “escaping.” Most often it’s a sober calculation of risk and margin:
- Dependence on one channel. An account suspension, a change of terms or a spike in advertising costs can wipe out your turnover overnight if 100% of sales flow through a single platform.
- Rising costs. Commissions plus fees for promoting listings mean the real cost of selling is often higher than the headline commission alone (we break this down in the article on Allegro commissions in 2026).
- A different customer. Some buyers simply don’t start shopping on Allegro — they look for electronics on Morele, books and cosmetics on Empik, deals on Erli or locally on OLX.
- Exports. If you want to go beyond Poland, some platforms give you access to foreign markets from a single account.
Before you spread across several channels, plan it out calmly — you’ll find a good introduction in our guide multichannel selling — where to start. Below, I break down the five main alternatives by niche.
Erli — a low-commission alternative for deal hunters
Erli is the youngest of the big Polish marketplaces and has positioned itself as a cheaper price alternative from the start. The platform aggressively draws in buyers with promotions and low prices, so it works great in mass-market and “bargain” categories: home and garden, baby products, DIY, home furnishings.
Costs (indicative): the commission depends on the category and usually falls within a range of a few to a dozen or so percent — sellers praise Erli for being able to come in lower than the larger platforms. There are two packages to choose from: the free Basic and the paid ERLI Shop (the first month is often free, subsequent ones on the order of about PLN 99.90 per store — an indicative amount). Erli also runs programs for new sellers (e.g. commission halved for the first months up to a set turnover threshold). Confirm all rates in Erli’s current price list — terms and promotions do change.
Best for: sellers with high volume and a competitive price who want to grab extra traffic at a low cost of entry. Weaker for premium products, where the customer isn’t driven by price alone.
Morele Marketplace — electronics, IT and home
Morele.net grew out of an electronics and computer store, and that’s the DNA of its marketplace. The Morele Group also brings together other services (including home and interior products), but it converts most strongly in electronics, PC components, consumer electronics/appliances, gaming and accessories. If you sell in these categories, you reach a customer who deliberately comes in for hardware.
Costs (indicative): the commission is set per category and — according to industry materials — can reach up to about 20%, though in electronics it tends to be significantly lower. It’s charged on the value of the completed order, usually excluding the shipping cost. Detailed rates are in the commission appendix to the Marketplace agreement — check the version in force on the day you register.
Important: Morele accepts sellers selectively — the platform states it works with selected partners meeting higher service and quality standards. This isn’t a channel “for everyone off the bat,” but in return you get profiled, valuable traffic.
Best for: stores selling electronics, IT, gaming and, in part, home/garden with solid after-sales service.
OLX — mass reach and a “pay when you sell” model
OLX is associated with second-hand classifieds, but for several years now it has also been a serious channel for selling new products with delivery (OLX Dostawa / OLX Parcel). Its advantage is enormous, cheap traffic and a very low barrier to entry — ideal for testing your assortment.
Costs (indicative): businesses have access to listing packages (e.g. Standard, Premium, Megapakiet) that lower the cost of a single listing. Separately, there’s a “Pay if you sell” model: you post a listing with no upfront fee and pay a commission only after a sale. The commission ranges roughly from about 1.5% to 10% (most often up to about 6%), and in some categories, such as fashion or baby products, an upper cap on the order of PLN 25 per transaction applies. If a listing doesn’t sell within 30 days, it expires at no charge. Check current rates and caps in the OLX terms and conditions.
Best for: fashion (new and used), home, baby products, hobby, local sales and anyone wanting to test demand at minimal risk. Weaker where the customer expects a store-grade warranty and a professional product page like on Allegro.
EmpikPlace — culture, kids, beauty and a loyal customer
EmpikPlace is a marketplace built around the recognizable Empik brand and its regular customers (including the Empik Premium program). The categories that convert best here are close to Empik’s DNA: books and media, toys and children’s products, beauty and cosmetics, home, stationery, gifts. This is a customer often less price-sensitive than on Erli or OLX.
Costs (indicative): Empik doesn’t charge a subscription or an activation fee — you mainly pay a commission that depends on the category (roughly in the range of a few to a dozen or so percent; different sources quote net and gross rates, so calculate on a specific commission schedule). The commission is usually charged on the gross order amount including the delivery cost. The platform can also be generous to newcomers: you’ll come across welcome programs such as 0% commission for the first months and a budget for Empik Ads — always confirm the current offer in the panel.
If you’re hesitating between this channel and the market leader, the comparison Allegro or Empik — where to sell can help, and we describe the connection details in the section on integration with Empik.
Best for: publishers, cosmetics brands, toys, gifts, culture-adjacent products and sellers targeting the premium/loyal customer.
Kaufland Global Marketplace — exports and the German market
Kaufland Global Marketplace is the only platform on this list that in practice means exports. From a single account you reach multiple markets — alongside Poland these include Germany, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands (9 countries). For a Polish seller, the most interesting is usually the huge, wealthy German market.
Costs (indicative): this is the only platform discussed here with an explicit subscription. According to the official terms: the Basic package EUR 39.95/month + VAT (about PLN 175) and Plus EUR 59.95/month + VAT (about PLN 260; PLN amounts indicative, depending on the exchange rate). On top of that, a commission on the gross sale price including shipping costs: on the Polish channel roughly about 4–12%, and on the German and other channels usually higher (about 7–16%), depending on the category. The commission is charged on actually settled, non-returned orders.
Entering a foreign market, however, isn’t just about fees — VAT OSS, listing translations and logistics come into play. We lay them out in a separate guide, how to sell on Kaufland Global Marketplace.
Best for: sellers ready for exports, with an assortment that turns over well in Germany (home and garden, DIY, electronics, FMCG) and who can carry a fixed subscription.
A marketplace map by niche
Below is a quick summary to help you choose a channel for a specific assortment. Treat it as a starting point — always cross-check it against your own margin and real demand.
| Platform | Best niche | Cost model | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Erli | Home, garden, kids, price deals | Commission (optional package) | Volume + low price |
| Morele | Electronics, IT, gaming, consumer electronics/appliances | Commission per category | Tech stores, selective |
| OLX | Fashion, home, kids, hobby, local | Packages or “pay when you sell” | Demand testing, low risk |
| EmpikPlace | Books, beauty, toys, gifts | Commission, no subscription | Premium/loyal customer |
| Kaufland | Home, DIY, electronics (exports) | Subscription + commission | Exports, mainly DE |
What selling really costs — comparing the models
Don’t compare platforms by “lowest commission” alone. What matters is what it’s charged on (price alone vs. price with shipping), whether there’s a subscription and the cost of promoting listings. All the numbers below are indicative — before deciding, verify them in each platform’s current price list.
| Platform | Subscription (indic.) | Commission (indic.) | Commission charged on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Erli | PLN 0 or ~PLN 99.90/month | a few to a dozen or so % | mainly the product price |
| Morele | no fixed fee | up to ~20% (lower in tech) | order excluding shipping |
| OLX | packages or PLN 0 | ~1.5–10% (often up to 6%) | price, with a cap in some categories |
| EmpikPlace | none | a few to a dozen or so % | usually gross with delivery |
| Kaufland | ~PLN 175–260/month | PL ~4–12%, DE ~7–16% | gross with shipping costs |
The practical takeaway: for a cautious test, the lowest barrier comes from OLX (“pay when you sell”) plus Empik and Erli with their welcome programs — you enter almost without any fixed costs. Kaufland is an investment: the fixed subscription only pays off with real export volume. Also keep hidden costs in mind: promoting listings (Ads-type systems on Empik or Kaufland) can raise the real cost of selling by a few to a dozen or so percent, and returns and complaints affect the settlement differently depending on whether the commission was charged on the price or on the price with delivery.
Before you enter a new channel — a quick checklist
Choosing a platform isn’t just about commission. Before you launch an account, go through five points that most often decide whether a new channel earns money or merely adds work:
- Margin after commission. Calculate the margin for the worst-case scenario — the highest commission in your category plus the cost of promoting the listing. If you drop below zero after that, this channel isn’t for this product.
- Assortment fit. Check whether your category actually “moves” on a given platform. Electronics on Morele or Kaufland is a different thing from electronics on OLX.
- Quality requirements. Some platforms (e.g. Morele) select sellers and enforce service standards — make sure your shipping time and returns handling meet them.
- Logistics and returns. Verify the supported delivery methods and — for exports — VAT OSS and the cost of international shipping. We describe the current return rules in the article on the new e-commerce return rules in 2026.
- Invoicing. Selling on another channel means more documents — set up your invoice flow, including KSeF, before the traffic grows.
How to sell on several platforms without drowning in operations
The biggest cost of multichannel selling isn’t commissions — it’s operations. Every additional platform means a separate panel, separate orders, separate labels and — most dangerously — separate stock. If you sell the last unit on Allegro while the listing is still up on Erli and OLX, you get overselling: an order for goods you don’t have, and a real risk of penalties and a bad rating.
That’s why, before you add a second and third channel, sort out two things:
- A single source of truth for stock instead of manually correcting quantities in each panel — we cover the basics in the article on stock synchronization and how to avoid overselling.
- Shared order handling (one order view, shared courier labels), so that packing doesn’t depend on which platform the order came in from.
In practice, this is done by a marketplace integrator that ties the platforms into a single panel — you’ll find an overview of the options in our roundup of the best marketplace integrators in Poland. Nimo is also being prepared in this category — a panel that is ultimately meant to tie orders, stock and channels together in one place (the product is under construction, so treat this as a direction, not a finished feature). Whatever the tool, the principle is the same: add another marketplace only once you’re in control of stock and logistics on your current ones.
Frequently asked questions
Which Allegro alternative is cheapest to start with?
The lowest cost of entry usually comes from OLX in its “Pay if you sell” model, plus Empik and Erli, which run welcome programs (e.g. reduced or zero commission for the first months). You then enter practically with no fixed fees. Kaufland is the opposite — it has a fixed subscription on the order of about PLN 175–260/month (indicative), so it only pays off at scale. Confirm current terms on the platforms’ websites.
Is it worth giving up Allegro entirely?
Usually not. Allegro is still the largest source of traffic in Poland (about 21 million active buyers per month, indicative figures). Treat alternatives as diversification and a way to reach customers you won’t catch on Allegro, not as a one-to-one replacement.
Where to sell electronics beyond Allegro?
The most natural choice is Morele Marketplace, which has the DNA of an electronics and IT store and a customer coming in for hardware. For exporting electronics, Kaufland Global Marketplace is worth considering, especially for the German market.
How to sell on several marketplaces without overselling?
You need a single source of truth for stock synchronized across channels, instead of manually correcting quantities in each panel. In practice, this is provided by a marketplace integrator or a warehouse system with automatic stock synchronization. Add more platforms only once stock and logistics are under control.
Which platform is best for selling fashion and children’s products?
For fashion and children’s products, OLX is strong (huge traffic, low cost, often with a commission cap in these categories) as is EmpikPlace if you’re targeting a more premium customer and branded products. Erli brings in extra volume in the price-deals segment.
